Marlborough shuttle bus

A free shuttle bus service that connects local commuters to the MBTA Southborough station has officially launched, operating from Monday to Friday.

Marlborough renewed its exclusive Phantom Gourmet partnership, a collaboration that includes the production of a new commercial to attract restaurantuers.

The City was approved as a Certified Vacant Storefront District, allowing downtown vacant storefronts to apply for tax credits with a city match of up to $10,000.

Marlborough's new developments, including the Apex Center, have contributed significantly to the increased economic activity along MetroWest's Route 20.

The city's outdoor seating ordinance, approved over a decade ago, has initiated an outdoor seating trend among local restaurants and nearby districts are following suit.

New restaurant Street Kitchen Marlborough opens on Main Street, selling an assortment of Indian and Italian cuisine for lunch and dinner.

Marlborough dispensary Garden Remedies will expand their sales to include medical marijuana following approval from the Cannabis Control Commission.

Marlborough-based Hologic has made an offer to French ultrasound company SuperSonic Imagine to purchase the remainder of its shares for approximately $85M. 

Marlborough-based Phio Pharmaceuticals will partner with Philadelphia biotech company Carisma Therapeutics to explore potential cell-therapy cancer treatments.

Marlborough-based Kubotek3D released its new CAD Model Comparison Software to increase communication between product design and manufacturing.

Three Marlborough business owners are nominated for the 2019 Barry M. Portnoy Immigrant Entrepreneur Awards through Malden's Immigrant Learning Center.

Marlborough-based Astellas Pharma US celebrated their 10th annual Changing Tomorrow Day by volunteering 80,000 hours of community service across the country.

The city's former airport, purchased by Capital Group Properties last December, will be converted into an industrial park pending City Council approval.

The Rowe Funeral Home will be demolished and replaced with 55 residential apartments and condos following the company's aquisition by Short & Son Funeral Home.

A property located at 130 Lizzote Drive, currently occupied by Acosta Sales And Marketing, will go up for auction this month with bidding starting at $2.8M. 

The Marlborough High School cafeteria had a number of upgrades over the summer including an more open space, quicker lines, more variety and updated equipment.

Two Marlborough seniors from Advanced Math & Science Academy Charter School have made it to the semi-finals of a National Merit Scholarship Program.

Assabet Valley Technical High School received a $281K skills capital grant from the state to fund modernizing the equipment for the school's culinary arts program.

A recent WalletHub study has ranked Massachusetts as the #1 state for Best School Systems in the country and #8 Best Schools for Teachers.

Our first annual Marlborough Food Truck Festival had a turnout of over 2,000 people! The event featured a variety of local food trucks, plus a beer and cocktail garden with drinks from Lost Shoe Brewing & Roasting Company, Flying Dreams Brewing, Strange Brewery, Vin Bin and Welly’s.
