Tax rate approved

The Marlborough City Council has approved the tax rate for FY2020, as it continues to be among the lowest in the region.

Construction has begun at the former Marlborough airport, where Capital Group Properties plans to convert the lot into the future Airport Industrial Park.

The Marlborough City Council recently approved a proposed 11-unit townhouse development on the property located at 19 Ash Street.

The Marlborough Fire Department received funding from the Firefighter Turnout Gear Grant program to provide the department with updated gear and equipment.

Hologic announced it has completed the $205-million sale of its Cynosure medical aesthetics division to an affiliate of New York City investment fund.

Marlborough-based Sunovion Pharmaceuticals received FDA approval for a drug that treats motor fluctuations for patients with Parkinson's Disease.
