Marlborough’s Downtown Village area has been designated an official Cultural District by the Mass Cultural Council for a second five-year term.
A downtown business owner has won a key approval for her plan to raze her South Bolton St. office and a neighboring home to make way for a 36-unit condo complex.
City councilors approved a developer’s request for a special permit to construct an 11-unit condominium complex on vacant land at 27 Jefferson St.

Over the past two years, the Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School has received nearly $1.5 million in Skills Capital Grants to support various STEM programs.
St. Mary's Credit Union sponsored the MHS Reality Fair, an event that gives seniors a taste of what it takes to earn a living and keep a budget in a fun, interactive format.
Marlborough Public Schools celebrated Massachusetts STEM week at Whitcomb Middle School with a host of learning activities and projects for the students.

This year's Veterans' Day Parade will begin at the American Legion on Maple Street and proceed onto Main Street. Stops will be made at veterans’ memorials along Main Street in honor of those who served. The parade will conclude at the World War I Memorial, also known as “The Doughboy Monument.”
